Chose this place due to its pet-friendly policy. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and we enjoyed the grilled fish served. The property shows signs of neglect with broken glass and an unusable pool. this was not the experience we expected.

karakahl country inn is a solid budget choice! the staff was super friendly and helpful. it’s close to cave of the mounds, which is a nice plus. the rooms in the 200-214 range are quite nice, making for a comfy place to crash.

Not for the faint-hearted
So, we booked a two-queen room for the weekend. But when we saw it, we just couldn’t do it. Seriously, the place was super dirty. I saw someone cleaning with no shoes—yikes! On the bright side, the breakfast was decent with yummy waffles. Just a heads up, gotta find a cleaner spot before checking in.
